You will not lack – Stella Dhinakaran

The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. (Psalm 34:10)

When you seek the Lord earnestly, He shall give you all the blessings. The Bible assures, “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing” (Psalm 34:10). When you ask for His anointing, He shall fill you with the Holy Spirit and lead you in His ways. Psalmist David says, “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God” (Psalm 42:1, 63:1).

God has promised, “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants” (Isaiah 44:3). Cornelius was a centurion. He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly (Acts 10:2). As he, along with his household was seeking the Lord with great thirst, the Holy Spirit fell on him and all his household, who were listening to the words of Peter (Acts 10:44-46).

God wants to bless your family abundantly! God will make you profess, along with Joshua, “…as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD” (Joshua 24:15). Make a decision that you and your house will do something for the Lord as we have approached the ‘last days.’ Plead with God, “O Lord, fill me and my house with blessings just you blessed Cornelius and his household.” Consequently, He will shower the Holy Spirit profusely on you and your family. He will transform your family into a fruit-bearing one!

Though ignorant of Lord Jesus, a brother and his family began to love Him through the Jesus Calls Ministry. Once the Jesus Calls Meetings were organized in a town near his village. He wanted to take his family to the venue after finding out for himself how they could be lodged there. Promising to take his family, after making arrangements for them, he proceeded to the town.

But he did not return even after a lapse of two days. So the family travelled to the town on their own. When questioned as to why he had not returned to fetch them, he replied, “I was so much absorbed by this place, filled with God’s presence that I did not want to leave it.” The whole family participated in the Meetings with an irresistible thirst for God! The Lord did not stop with giving them the joy of salvation but blessed them with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Once strangers to the Lord, today they are doing the mighty ministry of God!

God has promised, “From this day on I will bless you” (Haggai 2:19). “Daughter, cast all your burdens on Me. I will cast out all your family problems, liberate you from the grip of the devil, meet all your financial needs and give you rest. By blessing your whole family, I will transform it into a God-loving unit.” You need not despair at all. Seek the Lord even in the midst of adversities as one united family! Submit yourself to Him so that you can bear fruits. Ask for His anointing with thirst. God will fill you with the Holy Spirit, give you abundant blessings and guide you all through your life.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I extol You and glorify You. I seek your blessings for me and my family. I cast my all burdens on You. Fill me with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Deliver me from my family problems, liberate me from the bondage of the adversary. Pour out your financial blessing on my home. I claim all the blessings in your name. Guide me with your divine wisdom and lead me in your ways. Grant your salvation to my family members. Bless them abundantly.

In Your matchless name I pray.

Amen.
